Important Announcements

On Dec. 9, 2025, the U.S. Department of Education announced a proposed settlement agreement that would end the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan. The settlement must be approved by the court before it can be implemented. Borrowers can use the Loan Simulator to begin exploring other repayment options. On Oct. 30, 2025, the U.S. Department of Education published final Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program regulations that will be effective on July 1, 2026. We’ll provide updates when the regulations are implemented. For now, there are no impacts to borrowers, payment counts, or discharges.

Note: Servicing Platform Transfer

All accounts have now been moved to the new platform. You should have received an email or paper letter notification from Edfinancial, and you can now create your new online account at Edfinancial.StudentAid.gov/MyAccount. You will need your social security number and will be asked to confirm demographic information that we have on file for you. Once you log in you will be able to view your new account number under your “Profile” tab.

If you have never been to your online account before, you must register as a new user.

If you created an account with Manage My Account (MMA) in the past, you will still need to create a new account. Your username and password will not automatically transfer to the new system.

If you have created an account, but forgot your username or password, go to Edfinancial.StudentAid.gov/MyAccount, and click on “Forgot User ID” or “Forgot Password”.

If you are encountering an error page that looks like the following, close the tab, go to Edfinancial.StudentAid.gov/MyAccount and navigate from there. You may experience this error if you try to go back a page, or if you tried to go directly to the secure login page.
