A federal court issued an injunction preventing the U.S. Department of Education from implementing the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan and parts of other income-driven repayment (IDR) plans.

Government Shutdown: As of October 1, 2025, the Federal government has shut down. We will continue being available for assistance as the shutdown currently does not have any impact on your federal student loans. SAVE: The U.S. Department of Education is notifying borrowers with loans in the SAVE forbearance that interest will begin accruing again starting August 1, 2025.
