All accounts have now been moved to the new platform. You should have received an email or paper letter notification from Edfinancial, and you can now create your new online account at Edfinancial.StudentAid.gov/MyAccount. You will need your social security number and will be asked to confirm demographic information that we have on file for you. Once you log in you will be able to view your new account number under your “Profile” tab.
Your Online Account is where you can find your student loan details, personalized information and resources at any time of the day.
Your student loan billing statement contains all the most important information regarding your account. You will receive your statement about three weeks before your payment is due each month.
See a snapshot of your most recent essential account information in the Loan Account Details section of your statement.
Find contact information for our customer service representatives on each statement. Your Edfinancial account is also accessible 24/7. Under the online account log in information, you’ll find notifications specific to your account to keep you updated on upcoming deadlines and recent activity.
If you are currently receiving and making payments by mail, cut the coupon off the bottom of your statement and send it in with your check. Don’t forget to include your account number, on your check every month. If you are signed up for electronic correspondence, the statement will direct you to log in to your account and make a payment there.
On the back of your statement you will find itemized loan information. Loans are grouped by the same loan type and interest rate. Here you can view your interest accrual, current balance, payments received, and other loan details.
